Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all lessons and courses provided by the Tutor. By booking a lesson or course, you confirm your agreement to these terms.
1. Bookings & Schedule
• Lessons are 50-55 minutes unless otherwise agreed.
• Schedules (dates and times) must be set in advance and confirmed by email or message.
• Changes to the schedule require mutual agreement.
2. Placement Test & Level Definition
• Students are recommended to complete a placement test in advance.
• The tutor also holds a consultation to check level, motivation, and availability which is paid in advance
• The placement defines which part or level of the course the student joins.
3. Payment Options
• Single Lesson: Full payment at least 24 hours before the lesson.
• a 10- lesson Bundle: Payment before the start of the first lesson, with 5% of discount
• a whole course (the number of lessons varies: Payment in full (with discount)
4. Course Duration & Completion
• Full course (36 lessons) must be completed within 3 months (intensive) or 5 months (standard).
• Each module (12 lessons) must start and finish within the agreed timeframe.
• Lessons not used within that timeframe expire, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No‑Shows
• Students must give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
• If the tutor cancels, a new time will be offered or the lesson credited.
• If a student does not show up or is more than 15 minutes late, the lesson may be forfeited.
6. Refunds & Credits
• Single‑lesson payments are non‑refundable once paid.
• Course modules or full courses: Refunds are only possible before the first lesson starts.
• If the tutor cancels without notice, unused lessons will be credited or refunded.
• In exceptional cases (e.g., illness, relocation), unused lessons may be credited at the tutor’s discretion.
7. Student Responsibilities
• Be punctual and prepared for lessons.
• Ensure internet connection, device, and audio/video are working.
• Complete any agreed homework or practice tasks.
• Respect the learning environment and maintain courtesy.
8. Tutor Responsibilities
• Deliver lessons professionally and on time.
• Provide tailored materials and feedback.
• Use internationally recognised resources (e.g. Linguahouse).
• Communicate promptly about any changes.
9. Intellectual Property & Materials
• Lesson materials remain the property of the tutor or licensors.
• Students may use materials for personal study only.
• Materials must not be resold, copied, or distributed.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
• Personal data (name, contact, test results) is used only for course provision.
• No data is shared with third parties without consent.
• Lessons may be recorded only with prior written agreement.
11. Governing Law & Changes
• These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the tutor’s country of operation.
• The tutor reserves the right to amend these terms; updates will be published on the website.
